Start the estimate while you inspect

Capture photos, counts, and material choices in ClaimSpark's field checklist, then add the measurement report when it arrives.

Product update: August 24, 2026.

A first visit often happens before the carrier estimate or roof report exists. ClaimSpark's field checklist lets you start the project at the property: enter the customer and address, capture what you see, and leave the measurement report for later.

The August update opened the checklist to all users and replaced the fixed inspection walk with sections you can visit in any order.

Inspect the parts that apply

Choose the sections this property needs. Open house photos, roof, gutters and downspouts, windows, doors, siding, or another relevant section. Detached structures and interior rooms have their own cards. Skip the sections that do not apply to the job.

Record the counts and material choices that a measurement report cannot tell you. Photos can be organized by property side so the office can tell which elevation they support. Newly captured checklist photos receive a date and time stamp; photos selected from the camera roll are left unstamped.

Finish when the measurements arrive

The checklist saves your progress so you can leave and resume the project. When you finish the inspection, ClaimSpark builds scope from your templates. Drop in the measurement report to supply the geometry and resolve quantities linked to those measurements.

The project then opens in the project workspace, where you can review the estimate, work with Spark, and generate your documents.
